Coatings/Printings

We supply high-quality printed and coated foils with a wide range of processing and finishing options, including decorative coatings, customer-designed logos, protective barriers, sound deadening, primer coatings, adhesives, and desiccant coatings.

We utilize environmentally friendly water-based coatings. All alloys and tempers are available, with 1 or 2-sided coating capabilities, computer color matching to ensure consistency and in-house testing facilities to ensure product quality.  

Specifications

Heat Activated Adhesives

We offer the capability to apply custom heat-activated adhesives that will bond to specific substrates such as butyrate, PVC (polyvinyl chloride), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), polyester and rubber-based compounds. We develop specialized heat-activated coatings designed to bond at temperatures specific to the customer’s process and application and maintain full-scale lab test equipment to evaluate adhesive performance.

Desiccant Coatings

For HVAC applications such as energy recovery heat exchangers, we are able to apply waterborne molecular sieve desiccant coatings with superior scratch resistance and adhesion onto aluminum foil and coiled aluminum sheet gauges. Our desiccant coating offers superior performance with higher moisture uptake.

Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic

Developed for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) applications, these coatings are corrosion resistant and tolerant to salt spray and humidity. 

• Hydrophobic Gold: The coating provides corrosion protection and has very good chemical resistance

• Hydrophilic Blue: The coating provides good corrosion protection and chemical resistance; it also maintains a water contact angle below 8 degrees. The low contact angle controls condensing water droplets so they do not interfere with airflow over the fins.

Graphite Coatings

• Graphite coated metal is used in the battery market. The high purity graphite coatings are designed to improving surface conductivity of corrosion-resistant steels.
• Graphite low friction coatings are forms of solid film lubrication. The high purity graphite coatings are designed for reducing wear and minimizing friction.
